Activ-Ox Biofilm Treatment
Activ-Ox Biofilm Treatment removes chlorine and bromine resistant biofilm from the internal pipework of spas. Biofilm is unsightly when released into the spa water and can conceal and harbour micro-organisms such as Legionella which are hazardous to health.
Directions for Use
- Unsrew the top of the Activ-Ox Biofilm Treatment and add to it the 200ml bottle of Activ-8.
- Put the top back on the container and invert 3 times to mix.
- Allow the mixture to stand for 5 minutes to fully activate. A strong smelling yellow coloured solution of chlorine dioxide will be formed.
- Add all of the activated solution to the spa and circulate WITHOUT AIR AGITATION.
- Leave the spa circulating for at least 90 minutes and preferably overnight before draining and refilling with fresh water and treating in the normal way.
Usage Recommendations
Initial Treatment: 2 packs per 1500 litres of water, or repeat until all traces of biofilm are removed from the water.
Maintenance Treatment: 1 pack (repeat treatment everytime you change the water but as a minimum every 3 months)
