Chemical Name: Trichloroisocyanuric acid
Description: 20 gram chlorine tablets which contain a stabiliser to stop the chlorine in the pool being destroyed by sun light.
Dosing Instructions (Pool)
- Place tablets in the skimming basket or floating dispenser.
- Skimmer: 1 tablet per 5 cubic metres (1100 gallons) of pool water. It will take 3 to 5 days to dissolve.
- Floating Dispenser: Fill dispenser and adjust collar to get correct rate of dissolution. It will take 5 to 7 days to dissolve. Remove the dispenser when the pool is in use.
- NEVER place tablets directly into the pool as severe bleaching/staining may occur.
- If using a feeder or dispenser ensure that the tablets used are the same chemical (trichlorocyanuric acid). If another material has been used thoroughly wash the feeder out before adding tablets.
- Maintain a chlorine level of 1-3ppm and a pH level of 7.2-7.6 in your pool.
Dosing Instructions (Spa)
- Fill the floating dispenser and adjust the collar accordingly. The tablets will take 10-14 days to dissolve.
- Maintain a chlorine level of 2-4 ppm in your spa.
